How does renting/buying a FirEver Christmas tree work?
You can register your interest to rent or buy a FirEVER Christmas Tree via email. No payment is required to register your interest.
We’ll get in touch with you and ask a few questions about your location, when you’d like your tree eg. December 1-7, December 8-14 and what size tree you’d like. You can order more than one tree.
We’ll confirm when tree stock is open for online ordering. Home deliveries start from 1 December.
Payment for your FirEver Christmas Tree is due a minimum 3 days prior to delivery (if we are able to deliver to you). Otherwise we will advise your nearest retailer for collection.
You can also pre-order a tree to collect from a retailer. Either request a tree size & date via us or directly with the store & we'll make sure stock is reserved with payment to the retailer. To select/collect in store keep up to date via our socials - trees are usually available from mid November with regular top up deliveries over the Season.
If we deliver directly to you, we’ll confirm the delivery date and provide a 2-hour window, plus a text with a 30-minute ETA. We ask that someone is at the address to receive the tree, as we do not leave trees unattended and take no responsibility for “walking” trees. If you miss your delivery window, we’ll try to arrange another time, but an additional delivery fee applies.
If you wish to return your tree to the nursery until next Christmas, let us know as soon as possible. We’ll arrange pickup either from your nearest retailer on a set date or directly from your address.
When your tree returns to the nursery, we tag it with your special Tree ID (name and contact details) and apply a 30% loyalty discount for the next year. If you want a different size tree next year, the discount will transfer to that tree.
Trees must be returned in good condition to receive the loyalty discount — no broken branches, removed from the pot, or dying trees.
We also offer an optional custom-made Christmas Tree Stool (not available for rent/return) by the Men’s Shed Leongatha. Pre-order is appreciated (no payment required initially). We’ll confirm availability and when payment is due — all proceeds go back to the Men’s Shed.

Tree deliveries & pickups?
Deliveries to retailers or homes for pre-orders in 2025 start 1 December (unless arranged otherwise). Last delivery is Sunday 21 December, subject to stock.
Tree pickups start 2 January – 6 January. Home delivery and pickup is $20 each way. Collection from a retailer is free but requires pre-arrangement via fireverpickup@gmail.com. Your tree should be at the store 24–48 hours before pickup with your name and phone number attached

I like to put my Christmas tree up on December 1st, can I order a tree?
Yes! Just pre-order with us. Because Christmas in Victoria is warmer than the Northern Hemisphere, FirEver trees can spend up to 6 weeks indoors, but must be watered regularly and kept in a well-lit space — not in direct sun or next to a heater — to give them the best chance of survival.

Is a real, living pot grown Christmas tree for me?
FirEver Christmas trees are alive, and every tree is unique, so some variation in height and thickness is normal. They come in a pot with specialized potting mix and can weigh up to 20kg, so you’ll need to be able to lift it.
We can deliver to your front door (contact us to check availability) or send you to a retailer, but we do not bring trees inside or set them up for you.

Do you provide a saucer?
Yes. Each tree comes with a saucer, which must be returned when you return your tree. If damaged or lost, a $3 replacement fee applies. We also provide a biodegradable coconut fibre coir disc to protect the soil and retain water. This should also be returned undamaged, or a $2 replacement fee applies.

I am going away during the Christmas period, can I still rent a tree?
FirEver trees are living and need regular watering. If you cannot arrange someone to water the tree every 2–3 days, renting may not be suitable this year. Contact us if you’d like to discuss early return or collection.

Will I get the same tree next year if I want to rent again?
Yes! When your tree returns to us, we tag it with your special Tree ID. We’ll contact you in mid–late November to arrange delivery of the same tree.

Will the rental cost increase each year?
Yes. Trees grow about 10–15cm per year and are repotted each year, sometimes moving to a larger pot. Rental fees increase if your tree moves up a size.

What if I need to cancel my order?
Notify us at least 48 hours before your delivery day.

Cancellations within 48 hours: 75% of the cost retained.

Cancellations outside 48 hours: full refund.

Christmas Tree Stools: all sales final, cancellation equals forfeit unless arranged otherwise.
Do you rent to Businesses or for events?
Yes! We can deliver to your business/location (loading bay or equivalent). Customers are responsible for moving the tree from the loading bay unless special arrangements are made. Please arrange access requirements in advance.
If your business is closed over Christmas, collection must be arranged before the break. If you have heating/air-conditioning and no one to water the tree, this option may not suit.
For special events — e.g., a Christmas wedding — get in touch! We’ll do our best to make it happen. Discounts are available for multiple trees or short-term (24–48 hour) rentals.
